Mario defends ‘cringe’ kiss with Gabby Windey
Fans may have hated the kiss on The Bachelor, but Gabby and Mario seem to have enjoyed it. He stopped by the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast to discuss his connection with Gabby.
In addition to the first kiss, he also nabbed her First Impression Rose, Bachelor Nation reports.
He dished to hosts Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young how the kiss came about. Mario says a break in the conversation led to the right moment to lock lips.
“So we had the second kind of silence, so I went in and gave her a kiss.” – Mario, Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.
He proclaimed it a “great moment.” Mario went on to say that Gabby has “great lips.”
But does he have eyes only for Gabby?
Is he open to romancing Rachel Recchia?
Gabby Windey isn’t the only Bachelorette lead this season. She shares the honor with Rachel Recchia. Both women competed on Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor.
During his time on the podcast, Mario shared his thoughts on possibly romancing both women.
He said that during the toast, Gabby said she hadn’t had a chance to connect with some of the men.
That reminded Mario that “it’s still early” in the process and he’s “still trying to see how things will play out.”
He added that he’s “open” to having a conversation with Rachel, despite earning Gabby’s First Impression Rose.
