Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson Over Haters, Fine With Herself
Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson has been getting a lot of criticism lately. Fans feel she is trying too hard to grow up too fast. However, she has decided to not let the trolls win and is telling them how it is. Read on to find out her true feelings about the judgment.
Alana Thompson, No More Honey Boo Boo Sweetness
It is hard for viewers to realize that Alana is not the sweet little Honey Boo Boo that they know and love. Yes, she has always been sassy and full of spunk. Now, she is growing up before everyone’s eyes and she is experimenting with new looks. Once her mother, Mama June landed her own show, Alana started to wear long fake nails. It was not that big of a deal as it was just nails and some fun. Then, she moved in with her sister, Pumpkin. Alana still maintained some childlike qualities but slowly started to evolve into a more experimental teenager. She continued to showcase long nails and then, she got her nose pierced.
Pumpkin has a tongue ring and both she and their sister Jessica, have tattoos so this wasn’t really that big of a deal. As she was getting closer to turning sixteen, Alana was wearing more makeup which is truly part of growing up. Plus, she was heavily into the pageant scene as a toddler so she is not immune to being all dolled up. Yet, it was a photo shoot done recently that had fans up in arms. When Pumpkin debuted her twins, they could not get over the heavy makeup Alana was wearing. It took the focus off of Stella and Sylus and solely on Auntie Honey Boo Boo.
Haters Gonna Hate
Though it was supposed to be a sweet family photo to introduce the twins, it went awry. Fans focused on Alana Thompson’s heavy eyelashes and long nails. They felt it took away from her natural beauty and cuteness and wanted her to tone it down. In her next Instagram appearance, she was seen with another nose piercing. No one really cared about it as they were happy that she was fresh-faced this time around. After all of this, The Sun is reporting that Alana has decided to “clap” back at those who criticize her.
She took to her TikTok and made a video. In it “Everyone: You really shouldn’t wear them long lashes & nails! It’s really unprofessional for you” floats above her. It says “Me:” and she mouths: “I literally told you chitlin eating b***hes, the girls that get it, get it. And the girls that don’t, don’t.” Most of her followers supported her message and, interestingly enough, she did the video with a very natural look.
