Alyssa Bates (Bringing Up Bates) and Jana Duggar (Counting On) are being berated on social media for their bland styles. The friends recently met up, but their friendship and their favorite color palettes are getting a lot of attention from Duggar fans and Bates fans, too. Alyssa Bates & Jana Duggar are reunited!
On her Instagram stories this week, Alyssa Bates shared a few highlights from her trip to Tennessee. Most of the Bates family lives in Tennessee, but Alyssa has lived in Florida for several years now. So, she made a special trip to see some of her siblings, nieces, nephews, and parents.
While Alyssa was visiting her family, Jana Duggar was also in Tennessee. It’s unclear why Jana was there because the Duggars are from Arkansas.
Below, you can see a photo of Jana and Alyssa together in Tennessee. Alyssa wrote, “So good to catch up with this sweet girl!”
Jana has been laying low on social media, so she didn’t document the visit on her own Instagram page and didn’t share any other pictures from her trip to Tennessee.
Fans berate their bland styles.
On Reddit, the photo of Jana Duggar and Alyssa Bates together is catching a lot of heat. Many fans are commenting on how “beige” and “bland” the photo looks.
Someone captioned the photo, “Beige meets beiger.” Another points out the fact the photo is so heavily edited and lacks color. They say, “This photo is super filtered. That’s why it’s so beige–it hides their skin texture.”
“Jana, the queen of beige…A whole color wheel and she mostly wears black, white, grey, tan, ecru, off-white, beige, beig-ish beige,” adds another fan.
Others are talking about how boring their lives appear to be. Alyssa Bates is a mom of four young daughters and stays at home with them. Jana Duggar appears to be living at her parents’ home and helping out with her younger siblings, nieces, and nephews.
One fan writes, “Like, what is there even to catch up on? I changed another diaper, read some more bible verses? Let’s exchange beige clothes!”
