Nick Viall, Natalie Joy Address Katie Thurston Shade
Former Bachelorette Katie Thurston got fans talking when she shared with them that she has Nick Viall blocked on her phone. She said she blocked him after he made “odd” comments about her on his podcast. Now, Nick and his girlfriend Natalie Joy are responding to Katie’s shade. Nick Viall and Natalie Joy respond to Katie Thurston’s shade
US Weekly shared what Nick and Natalie had to say about Katie’s comments about the former Bachelor. Nick and Natalie talked about how they didn’t like how she namedropped men after her season ended last year.
Nick Viall went on to say he hears a lot about everyone while hosting his podcast The Viall Files. He continued referring to Katie’s Instagram Q&As, “There is so much that I know, which is part of why I have this rule. If people want to put stuff out there for us to respond to [then] fine. But I don’t want to be airing people’s laundry that I hear or how they treated other people.”
Nick went on to say, “I have heard some horror stories about my peers, but I don’t want to put it all out there. It is almost as if [Katie] feels like she has this ownership over these guys from her season.”
Natalie chimed in with her thoughts noting that she had a big issue what Katie’s latest comments about Nick. She said Katie has no reason to block Nick. Natalie said Nick has always tried to help Katie and give her advice that she never bothered to take.
Katie’s last text to Nick
Natalie also isn’t quite buying what Katie is selling. She said she thinks Katie is trying to protect herself. Natalie said, “I think she is platforming a lie, and I think we need to show the truth.”
Natalie wanted Nick to reveal their last conversation via text. It was Katie talking about Greg Grippo. Natalie read the message in which Katie said, “Ultimately my opinion on Greg doesn’t matter. I knew before he left he wasn’t The One. It was hard watching it back and always giving him validation, only for him to leave the way he did. But I knew even then that there was zero chance him and I would have worked in the real world.’”
Nick then read his response which was, “It is good that you have clarity. As long as you are happy, that is what matters.”
Katie first appeared on Matt James’ season of The Bachelor. She got a reputation for standing up for others and not being afraid to express how she’s feeling during her time on the show. Then, she moved on to her own season of The Bachelorette. She fell in love with Blake Moynes. However, it didn’t last. Next, she dated John Hersey, also from her season, for a while before calling it quits.
As for Nick, he and Natalie Joy have been together two years.
