What Is Hallmark’s Christmas In Toyland About?

According to the Hallmark synopsis, Charlie (Lengies) works at a large toy store chain as a data analyst. However, she learns that the company is discontinuing its brick-and-mortar stores, and transitioning to online only.

However, one of their stores outperforms all the others. Therefore, she is sent to investigate their secret. It turns out, if she does learn the secret, she could ultimately save hundreds of jobs.

It turns out that Grant (Hutch), the store manager, is their secret ingredient. He is whimsical and child-like, taking in the joy and magic of the season. When he meets Charlie, their approaches to business clash. Grant is not into the corporate way of running their business.

Soon, Charlie and Grant work together. They have a shared goal of keeping this special story open. This makes them bond. What surprises Grant is that Charlie is creative. She is good at designing toys. It doesn’t take long for the two to realize that just because you are a grown-up, you should give up on your childhood dreams.
