A photo of Anna Duggar’s kids’ breakfasts resurfaces online.
In an Instagram post in February 2021, Anna shared a snap as she prepared breakfast for her kids. At the time, she had six kids, Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, and Maryella. She has since welcomed her seventh child, Madyson, to the world.
In her newly resurfaced post, Anna Duggar wrote, “When I think comfort food, these are the sights & smells that come to my mind! And since it’s freezing and icy outside here, I figured it was a good day for us to have some ‘comfort food’ for lunch! There are just no other hash browns like the ones my momma made in her cast iron skillet!”
Below, you can see the hash browns Anna made for her kids. One snap shows the hash browns in the cast iron skillet, while the second photo is of small servings in colorful children’s bowls.
Fans are concerned she’s feeding them maggots and worms.
On Reddit, fans and critics are discussing Anna Duggar’s resurfaced photo. And many of them are disgusted. One writes, “…did you prepare worms, Anna?? Y’all I legit thought this was maggots or worms. 🤢🤮”
Another Reddit user points out that the food looks more like larvae than potatoes.
While some don’t think the food looks like worms, they agree that it doesn’t necessarily look appetizing. One fan says, “It took me a long time to figure out those were hash browns. Maybe this is a filter? I’ve never had them turn out looking like this in color, even when I’ve burned the bottom.”
Others are saying that they couldn’t figure out what the picture was of. Some guessed mushrooms, wild rice, and shredded chicken.
Other fans were also concerned that this is all Anna Duggar’s kids have to eat for breakfast. One writes, “I just hope Anna doesn’t consider a small bowl of poorly cooked potato pancakes, per kid, a meal.”
