7 Little Johnstons fans are wondering if Emma Johnston is finally dating her friend, Lucca Rannigan, or if they are still just friends. She shared a new photo of them together at the Little People of America Conference in Spokane, Washington, sparking lots of questions.

If you’ve been watching the family’s show on TLC or if you follow Emma on social media, you might have heard about Lucca Rannigan before. On the show, she was asked whether she wanted to marry Lucca and said, “probably…hope so.”
Emma’s sister, Anna, previously said that she spends a lot of time talking to Lucca, too. On social media, Emma has posted several photos of herself and Lucca together over the years.

Now, Emma has been reunited with Lucca and finally got to see him again. There’s a good amount of distance between them, so they don’t get to hang out often. The 7 Little Johnstons stars live in Georgia, while Lucca lives in California.
After the Little People of America Conference brought them together again last week, Emma shared a new photo with fans. You can check it out below.
In her post, Emma wrote, “Look at us we’ve grown up so much and now we’re here again as friends/BFF.”
Also in her post, Emma included a photo of herself and Lucca at the 2018 Little People of America Conference. So, they’ve been friends for a very long time.
On his Instagram page, Lucca also shared several photos from the conference. It looks like Emma only appeared in one of them, though. You can see it below.
Emma commented on his post, “Missing you/next year will be even better.”
Are they dating or just friends?
In her post, 7 Little Johnstons star Emma only refers to Lucca as her friend and BFF. So, it sounds like they may be just friends.
One fan commented, “Cutest couple in my opinion👍😊🙏🏻”
In response, Emma replied with three emojis and said, “😝😂🥰”
At this point, Emma and Lucca haven’t officially said that they are dating. So, it looks like they are just friends. It’s also possible they are more than friends and just haven’t announced it yet.
Fans would certainly love to see these two together as a couple someday. One 7 Little Johnstons fan said, “You guys look so cute together😍”
Another added, “Such a cute couple! ❤️❤️”
Someone encouraged them to get together and said, “Yall need to date.”
We’ll have to wait and see whether Emma and Lucca end up pursuing a relationship.
