Pumpkin & Josh Efird Fall On Hard Times, In L.A. Meeting With Bigwigs?
Pumpkin and her husband Josh Efird are on a family vacation in Los Angeles. Though the road trip involved a lot of family bonding, it was not all fun and games. Some sources are claiming that the family is struggling financially. Therefore, there may have been some business sprinkled into the vacation. Read on to find out what they pursued in Cali.
Pumpkin And Josh, Trying To Get By
It was one thing for them to become young parents to baby Ella. Pumpkin (real name Lauryn Efird) admitted that she wished she would have waited to have children. Becoming a mother at seventeen was not necessarily something she had in her life plan. However, she and her then-boyfriend Josh decided to make it work. In a sweet move, he put baby Ella in a onesie that asked Pumpkin to marry him. The duo gathered their family and headed to Las Vegas for their nuptials. Yes, they had some ups and downs. Josh was often away for long periods of time working. Then, in 2019, Pumpkin became the guardian of her younger sister Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson. That was an extra mouth to feed but she wanted her to have the stability to be safe.
Their mother, Mama June Shannon had fallen into a life of drugs and had gotten arrested. It was no longer safe for Alana to be with her so Pumpkin did what she had to do. Next, their older sister, Jessica, came to live with them as their mama had pawned the title to her car. She left them with nothing so everyone came to Pumpkins. When June left Geno last summer, she came to stay with Pumpkin but there was a new addition. Pumpkin had just given birth to her son, Bentley so June made all these promises about being around more and moving in with Jessica. She quickly bailed for a man in Alabama and came back with a new boyfriend, Covid, and no accountability.
Broke But Hopeful
The Sun recently reported that Pumpkin text her mother and said she had no groceries but June just told her to go on TikTok and make some money. In a TikTok dated June 21, Pumpkin confirmed that this did in fact happen. Now, she and her husband Josh Efird are out in California. Though there is some family time planned as they just welcomed twins, a lot more is happening, according to The Sun. It has been reported that both Pumpkin and Alana are in talks for their own reality show. Now it seems that the meeting may be happening while in Los Angeles.
Clearly, it cannot come at a more perfect time. They need the money, having three under one and Ella, who is almost five. Plus, they have Alana who will be seventeen in August. Along with these possible meetings, the popular reality family is also doing meet and greets with fans. Alana and her boyfriend, Dralin are there, as well so it is a true family affair.

They definitely should have their own show and June should not in no way benefit one dime from their show nor be shown in it. She has shown that her kids and grandchildren are not one bit concern of hers, only the new dude she married and then got him teeth and whatever else she has spent on him. Let June go to work at the local Wal Mart , and not get a dime if the kids money she is a disgusting person.
I look forward to watching Pumpkin and Alan as family dynamics. I am proud to see a young couple step up to care for their siblings. I am glad Mama June got clean and ditched Gino. But to not help or repair any of the financial and emotional hurt she has caused her daughters is absolutely disgraceful. I would love to see Josh ,Pumpkin, and Alana prosper in their own show and Mama June disappear in the everyday work force. ……….And this backlash on Pumpkin telling fans to give Josh cash for his birthday, fans are always sending some sort of gifts to their favorite “celebrity” , so what’s the big deal of her giving the fans that option!?!, This young man helped his wife get custody of her young sister, has his older sister-in-law living with them, now has 4 young babies !!! He deserves to buy what he wants for himself or may be selfless and treat his whole family to something they need. Pumpkin , I for one support your suggestion and want to see you and your family have a exciting future in good health and wealth.
I love them. It’s great to see them grow up and mature right in front of our eyes and do an EXCELLENT job at it! GOOD JOB!!!
