‘MAFS’ Divorce Drama: Noi Says Sushi Dying, Steve Didn’t Offer To Help
More drama is brewing for Married at First Sight Season 14 contestants Noi and Steve. She shared a photo of herself on a paddle board and said divorce feels good. Apparently, Steve wasn’t expecting her to comment so soon. So, drama ensued and Noi announced that Sushi is dying and Steve doesn’t care. Keep reading to find out more about the MAFS divorce.
Steve addresses divorce
It was a divorce fans didn’t want to see happen. Everyone thought Noi and Steve would make it. However, today, Noi announced their divorce. Steve didn’t know she was announcing it and put out his own statement to which Noi replied.
Steve said he wasn’t expecting this announcement to come today. However, he is ready to handle it. He knew he and Noi had their issues and he hoped they could work through them. They couldn’t and he said they are just incompatible in ways that compromise can’t fix.
He noted that they have been apart for a little while now and he is beginning to heal. Steve hoped things could be different but unfortunately, they cannot.
Steve also said he has no regrets about the MAFS process and they tried. He said it’s time they start thinking of themselves. In the end, there were things Steve couldn’t ignore that made them different and not right for each other.
Noi replied to Steve
Noi replied to Steve’s post. She said that Steve asked for the divorce and she begged him to stay. He reportedly told her he doesn’t owe her anything.
She then went on to say he has never checked in on Sushi since they found out he has cancer. Noi said, “since you are inferring you care here, let me fill you in, he’s dying, treatment isn’t working and you’ve never offered to help.”
Noi went on to say that he is not heartbroken and that basically, it’s all an act. She said he told her not to talk about it and that he was already even dating other people. She also said he made the choice while she was already heartbroken and vulnerable and didn’t let her in on the decision.
It seems like Steve and Noi both have issues to work through and more healing to do.
