Mari Pepin Places In Pageant With Support From Kenny
Mari Pepin has been spending time working on her pageant skills and representing her hometown with the support of her fiancé Kenny Braasch. Pepin and Kenny met on Bachelor in Paradise and quickly became one of the fan’s favorite couples.
Mari was on Matt James’s season of The Bachelor. Kenny was on Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette, which quickly turned into Tayshia Adams’s season.
Mari and Kenny had fiery chemistry from the beginning on the beach but decided to explore their other options before ultimately deciding they were perfect for each other. They’ve been engaged for a little over a year now and are looking forward to getting married.
Mari wasn’t a stranger to the world of pageants. She was Miss Maryland in 2019 and even made the top ten in the Miss USA pageant. She’s had a lot of support from Kenny who told her to go for it when she was planning to get back into it. Pepin said, “it was a long and often stressful journey, but I pushed myself to stay committed and focused and kept my dream of carrying Puerto Rico across my chest as motivation”
Mari Pepin Thanked Her Man For His Support
Mari Pepin announced that she came in the top seven at the Miss Mundo Puerto Rico pageant. She said Kenny encouraged her. On the announcement, she said she’d enjoyed being in Puerto Rico for the most time since she was a baby. She said she learned a lot about herself.
Mari said, “I want to especially recognize my amazing fiancé for first of all convincing me to compete, but also for supporting me, encouraging me, motivating me, and keeping up with everything this journey threw our way.” Kenny posted on his Instagram a picture with Mari. He captioned it, “my Miss Puerto Rico.”
Thomas Jacobs joked on the above picture, “can I get the other shoulder?” Kenny said, “My tat side is always reserved for you, you know that.”
Fans and Bachelor Nation Showed Their Support
According to Bachelor Nation, Mari Pepin got a lot of support on her Instagram posts. Former Bachelorette Tayshia Adams said, “you put yourself out there and that’s the biggest growth of all! Proud of you!”
Victoria Paul said, “you were amazing! I’m so proud of you.” Tammy Ly said, “So incredibly proud of you!!! YOU’RE MY MISS MUNDO PR!.”
Before the competition, Mari said, “I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to return to something I love here in my homeland, representing my hometown and with the opportunity to carry PUERTO RICO across my chest.” Everyone is very proud of Mari.
