RHOBH star Mauricio Umansky’s new show with Netflix in question amid fan backlash. Why are fans upset with Kyle’s husband? Read on for all the details.

Erika Jayne curses at co-star’s underage son

The latest episode of RHOBH strongly divided fans over Erika Jayne’s behavior. During Season 11, she was the center of a firestorm due to her estranged husband allegedly stealing money from his law firm’s clients.

While Jayne claimed not to know about any fraud, fans – and Sutton Stracke – couldn’t help but ask questions.

Even though her estranged husband is still under scrutiny, viewers are seeing a new side of Erika on Season 12. In fact, fans are growing concerned over the reality star mixing prescription drugs and alcohol.

Earlier in Season 12, Erika spent half the episode conked out on a couch during the cast boat trip in Mexico.

Her drunken behavior on the episode airing July 6 has RHOBH fans up in arms. What did she do?

During a birthday party for co-star Garcelle Beauvais, Erika Jayne rudely cursed at Garcelle’s underage son. When Garcelle’s 14-year-old son Jax takes flowers from a nearby table, Erika tells him to “get the f**k out of here” several times before Crystal escorts the shaken teen away.

However, most of the fan backlash is for Kyle Richards and her husband, Mauricio. Why?

Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley & husbands enrage ‘RHOBH’ fans

Aside from Crystal, only Dorit Kemsley was in earshot of Erika cursing at Garcelle’s son.

However, a clip aired on RHOBH of Kyle Richards and Dorit recounting the story to their husbands, Mauricio Umansky and PK Kemsley.

Both Kyle and Dorit offer excuse after excuse for Erika’s behavior toward Garcelle’s on. Kyle even said that it’s “funny but not funny.”

Meanwhile, her husband Mauricio came under fire for saying “it was great” to see Erika go off like that.

All four of the RHOBH stars laughed about Erika’s drunken antics.

Fan backlash began before the episode even aired after Bravo dropped a preview clip.

Things got so bad that Kyle posted a series of notes on her Instagram Stories explaining – but not apologizing – for how she reacted to Erika’s cursing.

Mauricio Umansky’s Netflix show in question?

Up until the most recent episode, Mauricio has been a fan-favorite ‘house husband.’ He’s so popular that Netflix recently announced they were teaming up with the real estate mogul for his own show.

As RHOBH viewers know, Umansky owns a real estate firm called The Agency. Netflix plans to film a show featuring the firm, similar to Selling Sunset.

However, following the July 6 episode, enraged fans are demanding Netflix cancel the show before it even airs! ‘Mauricio Umansky’ and ‘Kyle Richards’ were both trending on Twitter following the episode.

One angry fan wrote, “After that gross scene I definitely wont be watching Mauricio’s @Netflix show. I lost all respect for him and Kyle.”

Nope definitely not tuning into Mauricio’s nepotism realtor show,” another said.

A Bravo fan Instagram account received a tip claiming that Netflix instructed Umansky to issue a public apology, though he has yet to speak out about the backlash.
