Why Has A ‘Big Brother’ 24 Houseguest Already Been Replaced?
Big Brother fans rejoice, Season 24 of the reality TV show premieres tonight, July 6! It may just now be premiering, but that doesn’t mean the drama hasn’t already started. In fact, one cast member has already been replaced. Keep reading to learn why.
Someone has already left the cast
Big Brother hasn’t actually started yet, but the drama is already brewing. One day before the premiere of Season 24 of the show, it was announced that one cast member will not be playing to win this season.
The show updated viewers on their social media platforms yesterday. Not to worry, they have already replaced the missing cast member and included a photo of him on the post. Apparently, he is 24 years old and a lawyer from Florida.
“🚨 Important casting update!” the show starts the posts. “Marvin will no longer be one of our Houseguests on this season of Big Brother. We’re excited to welcome Joseph, a 24-year-old lawyer from Lake Worth, FL. to the #BB24 cast!”
Of course, this drama has fans pretty excited to watch. They are sounding off in the comments on Twitter.

Why won’t the Big Brother cast member be joining?
Of course, fans are scratching their heads on what exactly went down considering the show hasn’t started yet. Entertainment Tonight says that it could be because he actually is in the process of being on America’s Got Talent. Apparently, Marvin auditioned for the show and made it to the ‘Judge Cuts round.’ Meaning he may need to be available to be on that show instead of Big Brother.
Of course, Big Brother is on CBS and AGT is on NBC. It’s possible CBS wasn’t looking to compete so they let him go.
There’s no telling if they will address this on the show, or just pretend like nothing ever happened. Since they already have a replacement, that may be the end of it. Regardless, the newest season starts tonight and it looks like it will be a wild one! The show will air live this evening for a special 90-minute debut as the houseguests get to see their new living situation for the summer.
