Mama June: Where’s Sugar Bear, Anna Returning?
Mama June’s family is all but through with her at this point. She has proven that she cares for herself and the men in her life more than her kids. Yet, she thinks moving down the street from her daughter Pumpkin will solve all of the problems. There is a lot more drama than what is seen on TV. Pumpkin, Josh, and June’s eldest daughter, Anna all took to TikTok to spill the much sought-after beans. Read on for all the spilled tea.
Mama June, Losing Touch With Reality
When the new season of Road to Redemption began, there was a whole lot to unpack. June was still with her boyfriend, Geno Doak but she admitted she needed to get out. He was apparently drinking and would get abusive and controlling so she ended up going MIA to hide from him which wrecked Pumpkin. She was going into labor with her second child, Bentley and June missed it. Finally, June garnered the strength to exit the relationship and came back to Georgia to be with her family, making endless promises. No sooner had she done that was she off to Alabama to be with a man she had met online.
He was 24 and apparently in recovery. Apparently, he needed her help but she took it to the next level by spending 50K on him. Her kids were blown away but not shocked. When she returned home, she brought her new boyfriend, Justin but she was unwanted. She surprised everyone at Alana’s birthday party but left shortly thereafter. Yet, she didn’t know she had Covid and gave it to most of the household. June seemed extremely unapologetic and felt the best way to make it up to them was to move nearby with Justin. After a family therapy session, sans June, it appeared it was time for everyone to let her go the best that they could.
Where Does Everyone Stand?
Obviously, the relationship with Mama June is not at its best though she has admitted that she is working on it. Yet one person that fans have been constantly asking about is Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson’s father, Sugar Bear. He has been a staple on the series up until this year. Additionally, they want to know if June’s eldest daughter Anna Cardwell will ever appear on television again. Pumpkin, her husband Josh, and Anna all took to TikTok to share information. It then headed to Reddit for a complete breakdown. Apparently, Anna has not been asked to be on the show but if she was, she might think about it. Fortunately, she and Pumpkin do live less than an hour from one another so they see each other when they can. Plus, Josh and Anna’s boyfriend are close so that helps.
As for her relationship with June, Anna does not see her, only communicates via the lives that they do. When it comes to Sugar Bear, Josh made it extraordinarily clear that he never worked for him. Yes, it looked like SB had gotten him a job on the show but now this seems to have all been a storyline. Do they see Sugar Bear? None of them are in contact with him. No, Alana is not engaged and yes, this house is not theirs. They film there for safety reasons. Finally, they are unsure if there will be another season as of now.
