Mykelti Padron Anticipates Difficult Days To Come With Twins
Mykelti Padron of Sister Wives fame couldn’t be prouder to announce that she and her husband Tony Padron are expecting a pair of twins this December.
Even though the young mother knows she will do an excellent job, she’s aware of the challenges that can come with twins. This is especially true in her case, since Mykelti already has one small child in the house. Her daughter Avalon won’t even be two years old by the time the twins come along.

Mykelti Padron prepares to have three small children in the house
Avalon Padron just celebrated her first birthday in April 2022. She’s still really young, but fans can tell she’s very loved and growing up well. Mykelti frequently posts photos of the little girl on social media.
In a recent photo, Mykelti snapped a photo of Avalon as she got out of the bath.
“I WIN!! She’s amazing and so much fun to raise. I’m having the time of my life being a mom,” the TLC personality captioned the photo. “It’s gotten harder while pregnant, I can’t do as much as she wants me to anymore. And once the twins come I know it will be even more difficult. But I’m still so honored and please to raise her and her two siblings when they arrive.”
Some Sister Wives fans wondered how Mykelti and Tony Padron planned to manage three small children. After all, they’re only in their mid-20s and aren’t exactly wealthy.
In this post, Mykelti makes it very clear that she understands that life will be challenging from time to time. However, she wouldn’t trade being a mother for anything in the world.
And as long as there is enough love in the Padron household, Mykelti is confident that the kids will be just fine.
The Padrons plan to raise their children bilingual
Tony Padron comes from a Mexican family that speaks fluent Spanish. As a result, he and Mykelti would absolutely love to raise their children bilingual.
In the comments of the bathtime Instagram post, Mykelti revealed that she and Tony were trying to teach Avalon Spanish. After all, it’s much easier to teach her while she’s a baby. However, Mykelti also said that Avalon doesn’t speak much yet, so there isn’t much progress so far.
But in a year’s time, Avalon will probably be incredibly chatty — and in two different languages.
