Harry Styles, The Consummate Professional

Performing in all venues, all over the world has become commonplace for Harry Styles. The singer has become known for his playful and colorful ways. He both hosted and performed on SNL in November 2019 while executive producing the series Happy Together. Furthermore, Styles admits that he is a huge RHOBH fan. Yet, touring has been something that is in his blood and he has been thrilled about this tour which he had just landed in Denmark for. He was scheduled to perform for his Love On Tour at the Royal Arena, according to People, tonight. However, that would not happen.

Just hours prior to Harry hitting the stage for his show, a shooting occurred at the Field’s mall. It was located in Copenhagen and left three dead and three wounded. This count has been updated per NBC News as the number was unclear earlier. The suspect is said to be a twenty-two-year-old man, now in custody. Though Harry could have gone on for the sake of the Danish people, he used his best judgment and decided to cancel the show. In best Harry fashion, he wanted everyone to know they were not alone in the middle of his tragedy.

A Heartbreaking Situation

Harry Styles has chosen to cancel his time in Denmark. Though it was surely not an easy decision, it was most likely for the best. He released a statement through his social media and shared this:

“I’m heartbroken along with the people of Copenhagen. I adore this city. The people are so warm and full of love. I’m devastated for the victims, their families, and everyone hurting. I’m sorry we couldn’t be together. Please look after each other. H.”

As to whether or not he will reschedule is yet to be seen. Next up, he is headed to France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Come August, he will head to Canada and then America. He will spend a handful of nights at Madison Square Garden. Hopefully, the rest of his tour goes smoothly and he will never have to make an announcement like this again. Again, he has not shared if he will return to Denmark for a rescheduled date but it is probably too soon.

Thoughts and prayers are with the victims and the families over in Copenhagen.
