Kristin Cavallari discusses her journey of self-discovery or one might say recovery. She spoke about the difficult decision to end the marriage. Her interview reflected on just how unhappy she had been right before the split. E! News gives some insight into the strides Cavallari has been taking.

Moving On

While divorce isn’t easy on anyone, Kristin Cavallari’s decision had consequences for more than just her. The Uncommon James founder is the mother of three Camden, 9, Jaxon, 8, and Saylor, 6. During the interview, she was very vulnerable while admitting how she felt “really unhappy” nearing the end of the relationship. Kristin said she knew she had to make a drastic change for there to be an improvement for her kids and husband at the time, Jay Cutler, and of course herself. Things are always complicated. The couple had so many good memories they shared but as time went on Kristin was losing her joy. In one of her bestselling books, Balancing in Heels, she shares some of her early relationship’s pleasant memories. But sadly, as time traveled on the spark faded and was replaced with difficult times. E! News spotlights The School of Greatness podcast with Kristin Cavallari’s quotes, “The scariest thing that I’ve ever done is get a divorce,” she said, “But it’s been the best thing that I’ve ever done and that has really jumpstarted my journey on self-love and figuring out who I am now.” E! continues by mentioning Cavallari has realigned her priorities to become a better mom and redefine herself as a person.

Stunning Renewal

Personal growth looks good on Kristin Cavallari. She has spent the past two years working through some of her own demons. She says she is becoming the best version of herself. Kristin has put on some weight, but she is feeling better than ever. She recently posted a stunning photo on Instagram showing her new look in a black bikini that showcases some of that personal work. Transitions happen every day, but it is especially hard when a person is always in the public eye. Kristin has sat with the decisions and changes that have happened since announcing her divorce from Jay Cutler after 10 years of marriage. Time has been a gift to move forward with a positive outlook. She has gained perspective and believes that doing the hard work on herself benefits her entire family. “I can only be as good to my kids as I am to myself. If I am empty, I have nothing to give them. Being able to be energized and love myself so I can love on my kids—and support them and encourage them—that’s the most important thing,” according to E! News.

So is she ready to show off that new self in a new relationship? She told E!, “I’m actually excited to see who I can be in a new relationship because I feel like I’ve done so much work the last few years. I’m in no rush to be in a new relationship, but when I am, it will excite me to see how different I can be.”

“I feel like I’m the strongest I’ve ever been,” Kristin told Us Weekly. Kristin has a great mindset to work on her life struggles and body to be the woman she wants to be for herself and her family. Personal growth isn’t easy, but she is doing a fantastic job to dedicate time to herself and her family.
