Duggar fans and critics have come up with a funny list of “safer” alternatives to flying with the family’s pilots. Several of Jim Bob and Michelle’s kids are pilots and their training and experience have been called into question in the past. So, what might be safer than getting into a plane with one of them?

Which Duggar kids are pilots?

Josiah, Jeremiah, and John-David are all licensed pilots. Joy-Anna’s husband, Austin Forsyth, is a pilot as well. On TLC and on social media, fans have seen various members of the family flying planes.

Plus, several of the guys are also a part of a non-profit organization, Medic Corps. Medic Corps helps with disaster recovery all over the globe.

The safety of flying with one of the family’s pilots is especially questionable after John-David’s crash last year. His plane allegedly had a faulty fuel gauge, so he thought he had more fuel than he actually did.

He reportedly ran out of fuel and his plane crashed with his wife, Abbie, and daughter, Gracie aboard. Fortunately, no one was injured.

So, after this, fans are convinced that it’s unsafe to fly with any of the 19 Kids & Counting stars.

Fans create a list of ‘safer’ alternatives.

On Reddit, Duggar snarkers and fans are talking about all of the safer alternatives to flying with one of Jim Bob and Michelle’s kids.

One snarker starts off this entertaining game by prompting other fans to comment “things that are safer than and/or you’d rather do than ride in one of the tiny a*s Duggar private planes.”

Then, they kick off the list and write, “Sticking a butter knife in an electric socket (apparently my mother did this a lot as a kid and was fine).”

Another says, “Eat sushi from a gas station.”

“Step on a Lego every day for the rest of my life,” adds someone else.

One fan says they would be willing to go through the 7th grade again to avoid a flight with a Duggar pilot.

Another snarker writes, “Go in a gas station bathroom in my bare feet.”
