Anna Duggar Celebrates 14 Years Of Agreeing To Forever With Josh
Former 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On star Anna Duggar is celebrating a milestone in her relationship. 14 years ago, she committed to spending forever with her husband, Josh Duggar.
Today, Josh and Anna’s lives look much different than they did 14 years ago. They’ve tied the knot and welcomed seven children, Mackynzie, Michael, Marcus, Meredith, Mason, Maryella, and Madyson, to their family.
There have been many changes for Anna Duggar and her family over the past year. In case you missed it, Josh was arrested by the feds in the spring of 2021. He was then found guilty of child pornography charges. In May, he was sentenced to 151 months (around 12 years) behind bars.
Now, Anna is looking back on the day Josh asked her to spend forever with him.

On Thursday, June 23, Anna surprisingly posted on social media for the first time in months. And in her post, she revealed that it’s her 34th birthday, paying tribute to herself.

She wrote, “Fourteen years since I said, ‘YES!'”
She also revealed her birthday plans include “road-tripping to visit my bestie” and said that Even If by MercyMe is “on repeat.”
It might surprise you to see that Anna Duggar is still celebrating this milestone after all that’s happened with Josh over the past year.

In case you missed the episode of 17 Kids & Counting in which Josh pops the question, here’s a reminder of what happened. Josh learned that Anna didn’t want to get engaged before she was 20 years old. So, on her 20th birthday, which was June 23, 2008, he surprised her with a proposal. She was at Gator Landing, a restaurant, enjoying her birthday dinner when Josh walked in and asked her to marry him.
Despite this being Anna’s birthday and the anniversary of Josh popping the question, she won’t be celebrating with him due to him being in jail. So, this anniversary and birthday will be quite different than years past.
