Why Hasn’t Khloe Kardashian’s Ex Tristan Thompson Met New Son Yet?

Khloe Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson still hasn’t met his new son yet. In December 2021, the NBA star confessed on social media that he fathered a child with fitness model Maralee Nichols. The season finale of the Hulu series The Kardashians documented the moment when the Kardashian-Jenner clan found out about the cheating scandal.

Khloe admitted that it was just as hard to watch those scenes back as it was to film them. It was the final straw in their relationship. In June 2021, Tristan and Maralee conceived the child around the same time he was dating Khloe. But just because he became a new father again doesn’t mean he wants to step up like one.

Tristan Thompson refuses to meet his new son

Per Us Weekly, Tristan Thompson has “no immediate plans” to meet his six-month-old son, Theo. He also hasn’t sent child support to Maralee. Even though he confirmed that he was the father, he’s not acting like one. Tristan doesn’t want to bond with his son, nor does he want to speak with Maralee.

“Tristan is very absent from Theo’s life. He hasn’t met Theo nor has he initiated any meetings,” an insider told Us Weekly. “He doesn’t have any immediate plans to meet his son face to face.”

Maralee and Tristan haven’t communicated since their court trial. “This aspect hasn’t legally been resolved yet,” the source added. In December 2021, Maralee revealed her plans to sue the athlete. This led Tristan to make a public declaration and apology to Khloe, who he was still dating at the time.

The Cleveland Cavaliers player also cheated on Kourtney when she was pregnant with their daughter, True. Their on-and-off relationship first ended in February 2019 when Tristan Thompson kissed Kylie Jenner’s former best friend Jordyn Woods. Khloe and Tristan gave their relationship another shot at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Refuses to communicate with Maralee Nichols

Tristan Thompson and Maralee can’t reach an agreement. She gave birth to their child in December, around the same time as the shocking revelation. The personal trainer also confirmed that he has made “no attempt” to meet their baby boy. She demanded that he pay $47,000 per month and $1 million in legal fees.

Tristan Thompson refused to provide child support to his son. Initially, he was in denial that he was the father. In March 2022, the model filed documents at a Los Angeles court in which she claimed that he has an “income of $9.7 million alone.” Tristan denied her claims and called her a “gold digger.”

Maralee is his third baby mama. Along with Maralee and Khloe, Tristan Thompson also shares a four-year-old son Prince with Jordan Craig. Tristan has become known for his personal life rather than his sportsmanship. Yet, most associate him with Khloe only.
