Welcome to Plathvillle fans have noticed a major slip-up in the Tuesday, June 21 episode of the show. In a scene with Moriah Plath, there seems to have been a mistake in editing or production. So, what happened?

Fans have had questions about many shows, from Sister Wives to Unexpected. Now, Welcome to Plathville is under the same scrutiny. It appeared to occur during a conversation between Moriah and her mom, Kim.

A Plath family fan hopped online to share a major slip-up they noticed when watching the new episode. discovery+ subscribers can watch new episodes of Welcome to Plathville in the morning rather than waiting for them to premiere in the evening on TLC. So, this fan must have watched the episode early.
In their post, the fan wrote, “I just can’t take this show seriously anymore…I won’t spoil what was said in the conversation between Kim & Moriah, but as you can see Moriah is wearing two different pairs of earrings in this scene.”
Then, they urged the network to do better, writing, “Come on TLC, if you want the fans to believe this show isn’t scripted then pay attention to the little details.”

As you can see in the comparison below, Moriah is wearing two different pairs of earrings, though this is meant to be the same conversation with her mom, Kim.
Because she changed her earrings, this suggests that this scene might have been filmed on separate days. Naturally, this raises questions about how real the show actually is.
It looks like a mistake was made somewhere during the Welcome to Plathville production process.

Not “fake” at all! Even though this is reality, there is something called “production” and anyone with half a brain who watches TV and movies, would realize they HAVE to do some scenes, but that doesn’t mean this conversation wasn’t REAL, so what if they started it, then had to finish later, it’s still real. And who wouldn’t know that vsomec0″ of ANY show would have to be scripted???
