‘I Love A Mama’s Boy’ Why Fans Are Adamant Matt Is Gay?
I Love A Mama’s Boy is back for its third season. One mother/son duo that has returned is Matt McAdams and Kelly. Their abnormally close relationship ended his engagement but he still holds out hope for the one. However, fans have felt for quite some time that Matt is gay and they have not let up on that theory.
I Love A Mama’s Boy: Fans Have Questions
This show has been confusing from the beginning and many people just cannot grasp the concept. Matt and Kelly have been exceptionally close. They drink smoothies together and get facials, it’s like they are girlfriends, not best friends. While he was engaged to Kimberly Cobb, they moved into his parent’s home. It worked since their apartment had burned down. At the same time, his family was helping them build their dream home. However, Kelly was in control of everything that happened in the house. Matt made sure to consult her with every little detail and that included planning the wedding.
She then decided she wanted to read a poem at the wedding but on top of that, she also wanted to officiate it. Kelly was smothering Matt and Kimberly but he never saw it that way. When Kimberly was offered a great job opportunity in Texas, he could not leave his mother. Kim knew this was what was right for her so she went, realizing how toxic the situation had been. Ultimately, she ended the engagement and has been thriving. Though Matt and Kelly are back for another season and he has a new girlfriend, fans cannot shake the feeling that Matt is gay.
Fans Have Their Theories
As of two days ago, a new Reddit thread was posted with fans once again believing that Matt is gay. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, let’s be clear. They just want him to be honest. Here is what they had to say about the mama’s boy:

- I just watched season 2 episode 1… gayer than ever. I bet he hides behind his mom to sabotage relationships.
Now, things may work out great with his new prospect Brittany and she may be able to infiltrate the mama’s boy relationship. Yet it would be a great twist to have a same-sex couple on the show. If Matt is gay, he should be proud of who he is and if Kelly adores him as much as she claims she does, she should encourage his truth. Either way, they have an interesting relationship nonetheless. Kelly is definitely overbearing and out of line. Kim should not have tolerated it. It was always two against one.
I think Kelly enjoys behaving erratically, especially for tv. Matt will never find a girl with his mother being so close.
With Brittany, he is already questioning his mother’s antics. Wished he would have stood up for Kim. She deserved his allegiance
I think when Kelly went to Brittany’s place of work was over stepping but when Matt was confronted he didn’t like it and pouted like a small child and called him mommy. Double standard. Kelly just ain’t right. WITH THE NEW LADY WITH KIDS THAT HES INTERESTED IN OUGHT TO BE QUITE INTERESTING. KELLY WILL SABOTAGE AS WELL. MATT IS GONNA END IP A LONELY PERSON.

I cannot believe the miserable things Kelly does to Matt’s girlfriends. I think as soon as a girl realizes who he is she should run and run fast. Matt told Kelly he was not happy with her going to Brittney’s office and then continued eating popcorn and watching a movie. Seeing the things Kelly does actually disgusts me and I think she is one step from the looney bin. If Matt continues to have the type of relationship with his mother, then they should get adjoining rooms in the mental hospital. Matt’s Dad seems normal and I wonder how he can put up with Kelly’s antics like pulling out a tree because it blocked her view of Matt coming and going. The other mother that disgusts me is Robert’s. With all her make up she looks ridiculous while she is causing trouble for Robert and his family. Today he finally stood up to her and chubby mummy comes to his house tooting the car horn. Another mental case.
Robert’s mother is so far dug in that she can’t see her way out with the DNA paternity test. If they did the paternity test then she will claim that they doubted, If they didn’t do it then they are hiding something. There would be no winning with her. She will always claim that the results are fake. Thank goodness Robert has begun to see the issue. Unlike the Matt and Kelly relationship.

Nancy is ugly both inside and out. Absolutely horrible human being. Hopefully her son grows a pair and stands his ground. If not, Kristy needs to take the girls and leave him.

I think Robert’s wife should ask Robert’s mother for a DNA test to see if Robert is really related to his so called mother. Let’s see how she likes it. Perhaps Robert’s mother was sleeping around nine months before Robert was born.
Somebody needs to tell her that it is bad enough to look like a clown with all that caked on makeup, but she shouldn’t act like a clown too. Robert and his wife seem so normal and they should avoid her. Wait til the granddaughter sees this show in the future and asks her grandmother why she didn’t think she was really her granddaughter. That family will end up hating Robert’s mother forever, and who could blame them.

Matt certainly appears to be all in gay. He uses his sick mother and their relationship to avoid intimacy with a woman in a relationship. Now he has hooked up with an older woman that harkens to being his second mommy. He allows his mother to abuse and mistreat women he brings home. Kelly is extremely warped and so is Matt. Sick as hell the both.
