Two Bachelor Nation couples split in the same week
It’s been a hard week for love in Bachelor Nation. Season 18 Bachelorette lead Michelle Young and final rose winner Nayte Olukoya ended their engagement. They issued separate posts on their Instagram Stories confirming the split.
Katie Thurston from Season 17 took to her social media three days later to share a message of her own. “Statement: no we aren’t together,” she bluntly said.
At the time, fans weren’t sure if she was talking about her relationship with John Hersey or not.
A few hours later, he hopped on his own Instagram to confirm the news. “As Katie stated earlier, we are no longer dating,” Hersey confessed.
John Hersey was among the suitors on Season 17 of The Bachelorette. However, he was sent home after the first night.
Katie went on to get engaged to Blake Moynes, but that relationship ended quickly. A month after confirming her split from Moynes, she revealed her new romance with Hersey.
With all the breakups in Bachelor Nation, fans could use some proof that contestants can find love in the franchise.

Dean Unglert marks anniversary with Caelynn in the sweetest way
Bachelor Nation fans are reeling from multiple breakups in the same week, but one BIP couple is still going strong.
Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes had a rocky start. The couple met during Season 6 of Bachelor In Paradise. However, he didn’t see a future with her and left the show. “Our lifestyles are not going to be compatible coming out of this,” he said during their breakup.
Fortunately, he came to his senses and returned to the beach to sweep her off her feet. The couple have been together ever since.
Unglert took to his Instagram on June 20th to share a sweet tribute to his lady love. He shared an adorable video of highlights of Caelynn.
“Three years doesn’t seem like much when you’ve got forever left to go,” he wrote in the caption.
Bachelor Nation fans flooded the comments with praise of the wholesome gesture.
“She’s the CUTEST ever,” one follower wrote. Another said, “So glad you went back for her.”

What BIP alum needs to propose
Bachelor Nation fans are eagerly waiting for Dean Unglert and Caelynn Miller-Keyes to take the next step. However, Unglert is reluctant to take the plunge.
He did tease that they are looking at engagement rings, but with a catch. On the I Suck At Dating podcast, he joked that they’re negotiating. Us Weekly reports that the BIP alum quipped, “I made a deal with her. I was like, ‘I’ll buy you a ring if you buy me a truck.'”
