‘When Calls The Heart’ Season 10: Questions Hearties May Still Have
It is official! Hallmark has announced When Calls The Heart Season 10! Hearties have been celebrating the renewal of their favorite series.
However, they still have a few questions. Maybe you do too?
How Many Episodes Will When Calls The Heart Season 10 Have?
When Hallmark made the official announcement via ET, they said that When Calls The Heart was back for Season 10.
But, they did not state how many episodes there will be in the upcoming season. For the past 2 seasons, they supersized the season with 12 episodes. That has been successful. Yet, for now, we don’t have the definitive answer to that question.

When Will They Start Filming When Calls The Heart Season 10?
Just as with the number of episodes, Hallmark did not reveal when they will start production of Season 10. However, WCTH star Andrea Brooks may have hinted at when they will could start filming the new episodes.
On Friday, Kayla Wallace, Kevin McGarry, Ben Rosenbaum, and Erin Krakow shared the same post from Venice, Italy, celebrating the renewal. On Erin’s Instagram post, Andrea wrote, “Living the life!!!!!!! See you guys sooooooon! ❤️”
When she said “sooooooon,” did she mean that they would be getting together soon for filming? This could be very possible. That is because, for the past two years, they have started filming in July. This was to take advantage of better Vancouver weather during the pandemic, so they could film outside.
Although Hallmark has not shared a production date, Hearties do know that the moment that the stars get on the plane to start production, they will be sharing that information on social media.

Will There Be A Time Jump In WCTH Season 10?
Immediately after the When Calls The Heart Season 9 finale, the writers spoke of the next season, should Hallmark renew the series. Former showrunner, John Tinker spoke of a time jump on the Official Hearties Admins vlog, of about three months after the final episode of Season 9.
Now that Tinker is gone, will there still be a time jump? If so, how far ahead will they jump? Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith both have said it would be “hysterical” to see Rosemary pregnant.
Moreover, it may be interesting to see the LucaBeth wedding planning. However, this may all change. That is because Tinker is no longer the showrunner.

When Calls The Heart Has New Showrunner
Hearties finally got the renewal they wanted, but with a lengthy delay. It may be due to a showrunner change. John Tinker was the showrunner for the last two seasons. He has not yet commented on his departure. However, he has been a very enthusiastic member of the team, being a guest on podcasts, and talking about the series.
Now, Lindsay Sturman is the new showrunner. Currently, she has not commented on her new position. But, with over 20 years in the business, including writing and producing for shows like Teen Wolf, Rizzoli & Isles, and NCIS Los Angeles, she has the talent to share more unique stories about the beloved characters of Hope Valley.
Will Sturman continue with the time jump, or will this seasoned veteran do something else? We may not know the answer to this question until after they finish filming.
Hopefully, the new When Calls The Heart showrunner will give some pre-production interviews on her vision, and what she would like to see happen next.
