When Calls The Heart Season 10 was announced on Friday. Hearties are pondering my questions about the series, including who could return. They are also wondering whether Jack Wagner will be returning.
Here is what we know now.
Will Jesse And Clara Return For When Calls The Heart Season 10?
Since the beginning of When Calls The Heart Season 9, Hearties have felt a major void. Three main characters were missing from the Hallmark series. One of our readers, who was commenting on another article, wrote, “Would like to see Dr. Carson Jesse and Clara come back. Like Dr. Carson to help Bill get well. I love the show.”
First, what happened to Clara and Jesse? The two were homesteading in Montana. Therefore, they were not in Hope Valley. Were they written out of the show?
Turns out, then-showrunner, John Tinker had a Season 10 storyline. Speaking on a Facebook Live event in April 2021, Tinker and his wife, Ronda Rich, talked about the intended storyline of “marital strife.”
There has not been an explanation as to why actors Aren Buchholz and Eva Bourne were not back. However, both have been very busy working actors, each starring in several projects.

Will Dr. Carson Shepherd Return To Hope Valley?
Many Hearties have been speculating on whether or not Paul Greene will be back on When Calls The Heart Season 10. Many fans of the Hallmark series have even suggested that perhaps Carson will be the person to figure out Bill Avery’s illness. Therefore, this could give Dr. Shepherd a reason to be back in Hope Valley.
Originally, Paul Greene was not even sure whether or not he would be back for WCTH Season 9. He philosophically mused that people come and go to the optimistic town, and you just never know what is next.
However, Greene and his fiancée Kate Austin had a baby boy, Austin, last winter. Even if he has not been on the show, he is savoring every moment with his second son, and sharing photos on social media.
But, it would sure make a lot of fans very happy to see the Christmas CEO star back in Hope Valley, even if things with Faith (Andrea Brooks) look to be over.

Will Jack Wagner Return For When Calls The Heart Season 10?
When WCTH Season 9 ended, Bill Avery was ill, and he needed an important X-ray to diagnose his illness. Fans have been speculating on whether he had TB or another serious lung disease.
Therefore, many fans want to know if Jack Wagner will return to the series. In addition, GAC CEO Bill Abbott had shared on a GAC After Show video that Wagner was “joining the family.” That was in October 2021.
However, nothing has been announced. Moreover, that could have been a misinterpreted statement. But, it does make Hearties wonder what is next for Bill Avery.
Currently, Paul Greene Dealing With His Own Illness
Although Paul Greene has played a doctor on tv, recently, he has found himself a patient. In a recent Instagram post, When Calls The Heart alum, Paul Greene, revealed that he has been battling Covid. He announced it with a video.
He started by saying, “Let’s talk about Covid for a second. It’s not a very popular or fun thing to talk about, but, I just got it. And it is mean.”
He then grimaced as he said, “It’s got some teeth. It’s like gripping. I didn’t expect this. So, I’m out here walking backward doing my grounding.”
Greene then continued to explain how he is fighting Covid. “I’ve been gargling, Epsom salt bath. I have been [doing] coffee enema, red light therapy ozone.”
I’m going to do sauna, tonight with a zone and vitamin C and D, and lots of zinc stacking. Kirsten ivermectin, CDB, CBN, honey, lemon, ginger, mean, you name it.”
He did share that he would update fans. “I’ll give you an update later how it’s going. Grateful to be alive. Grateful to have air in my lungs. Grateful my sweet babe is taking good care of me.”
