Bringing Up Bates Stars Expecting First Baby
If you missed the news, on Mother’s Day, Nathan and Esther hopped online to share with fans that they are expecting their first baby! After tying the knot in October 2021, they are growing their little family.
When announcing their pregnancy, they wrote, “This Mother’s Day is extra special for us! We are so excited and grateful for this amazing gift!🥰”
Their first baby is due in October 2022. So, they will have been married for about a year at that point.

Nathan & Esther Bates Reveal Baby’s Gender & Name
Now, the time has come for Nathan and Esther to reveal their baby’s gender to fans. On social media, Esther recently told fans that she knew the baby’s gender and that she would be announcing it soon.
She also shared a few sonogram pictures that accidentally revealed the baby’s gender. She quickly deleted them, though fans took screenshots and said they think the baby is a girl.
So, were fans right?
In a new Instagram post on Sunday, June 19, which was Father’s Day, the couple spilled the details of their baby’s gender and name.
In the caption, Nathan and Esther Bates wrote, “We’re so excited to welcome our baby GIRL in October!”
They also shared that they have chosen the name Kenna Joy. In one snap, the couple is standing with a giant pink sheet that shows their daughter’s name.
In another photo, they posed with Nathan’s parents, Gil and Kelly Bates.

Of course, in the comments section of their post, the couple is getting lots of love from friends, family, and fans. It looks like everyone is very happy for them.
