Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird Confirms Twins’ Arrival With Pics & Names
Lauryn Efird aka Pumpkin is officially a mother of four. Many wondered if she actually had twins, as TMZ reported she was pregnant back in April. Even after The Sun reported that the twins had arrived on May 19th, many still did not believe the news. Her mother, Mama June took to TikTok where she confirmed the twins’ news. Still, there were skeptics. Now, it is official as Pumpkin is sharing both their names and photos of her new additions.
Lauryn Efird Grows Into A Mama
When she was a teen, Pumpkin was still figuring herself out. Fortunately, she had a very open family that allowed her the freedom to do that. Once she met Josh Efird, she finally felt that she had met the person she was supposed to be with. In 2018, the couple got married and also welcomed their first daughter, Ella. They had no idea what was in store for them the following year. Pumpkin’s mother, Mama June Shannon had been dating Geno Doak and the two of them went down a bad path. It was filled with drugs, spending excessive amounts of June’s money, and getting arrested. Due to the instability, Pumpkin’s youngest sister Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ came to live with her. She was now in a position of raising two children.
Not long after, her slightly older sister, Jessica came to live with her. She admitted she was a great help with Ella but it was a lot raising other people’s kids. Though June went to rehab and got sober, she still put everyone else before her own family. Right as Pumpkin went into labor with her second child, June went MIA. She was leaving Geno but it still stung to not have her there. Bentley was born in July of 2021 and June reappeared shortly after. In April of this year, it was revealed that Pumpkin was expecting twins that were due in June. That same month, she was granted sole custody of Alana. Then, she went in for a C-section on May 19th.
The Illusive Twins
A source close to the family told The Sun that Lauryn Efird welcomed a healthy baby girl and boy on May 19th. Yet no one saw anything from the family. It started to become this big debate on social media. Then, outlets reported that Mama June was not there enough for Pumpkin so she went off. She took to TikTok and declared she had been there for the birth of the twins but left the night that they were born for a pre-planned vacation. June had yet to be back as her husband Justin Stroud has things to handle in Alabama. Despite this, fans still did not believe the twins existed. Well, they do.
The Sun not only has the first photos of the twins but also their names. According to the parents, they were the only ones permitted in the delivery room for the C-section. As for the names, the little girl is Stella Renae and the boy is Sylus Ray. Post-delivery, Josh’s family were the first ones in the room. “The family is really happy. Things have been stressful adjusting to three babies under one-year-old and just five kids in general but it’s nothing me and Josh can’t handle. This just means life is a little more hectic but will be so worth it in the end,” shared Pumpkin.
