Fans Outraged As Jed & Katey Duggar Put Baby Truett In Unsafe Spot
Fans are outraged after watching a new video of Jed and Katey Duggar. Fans noticed that the couple put their one-month-old son, Truett, in a dangerous situation. So, what happened?
Jed & Katey Duggar document their first camping trip with Baby Truett.
On their YouTube channel this weekend, Jed and Katey documented a fun camping trip with their newborn son, Truett. They shared a video as they drove out to the campsite in their RV. They met up with several friends and family members.
John-David and Abbie Duggar, Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth, Hannah and Jeremiah Duggar, and Esther and Nathan Bates were all there, it seems.
Amid the fun camping activities, the couple got blasted online for an unsafe parenting decision they made. What did they do?
Fans are outraged after Truett is left in an unsafe spot.
On Reddit, Duggar fans and critics are discussing the new video. And many of them noticed that Truett was left in an unsafe situation. About 17 minutes into the video, the group is sitting outdoors while cooking food on the grill. As you can see in the screenshot below, Truett is in a baby rocker underneath the grill.
In the screenshot below, Nathan Bates is cooking. Later in the video, Jeremiah Duggar also pitches in.
Not only is the grill above him, but there’s also a propane tank right beside him, too. You can see it in the photo below.
Eventually, when Jeremiah is standing in front of the grill, he picks up the baby rocker and gives Truett a little ride. Then, he places the baby and his rocker beside Katey Duggar. So, fortunately, nothing bad happened while Truett was left in an unsafe space. But fans are certainly questioning the couple’s parenting choices, as well as their common sense.
Someone asks, “They couldn’t have found literally anywhere else for the kid to be?”
Another adds that it wasn’t just Jed and Katey Duggar who didn’t notice that this was unsafe. They write, “I think Joy was there from another picture I saw. So multiple adults saw where this baby was and thought it was fine.”
“Anybody who was around them that day clearly lacks common sense for them not to correct where the baby is,” says another.
