Fans have been anxiously awaiting newlywed couple JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers new reality show to hit television screens. The two were joining up to help divorced individuals find love again. The show titled The Big D was set to air on TBS. However, it seems there may be a little problem after all. Will the show air at all? Keep reading to find out more.

Will JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers new show The Big D still air?

JoJo Fletcher has been teasing fans for a while about hosting this new reality television show. The Big D was set to premiere on July 7. The show promised to bring some drama and romance as ten newly divorced couples attempt to date and fall in love again. There is one catch to the process. It seems that the ex will also be along for the ride.

MSN shared what an executive at TBS said of the show, “Dating is terrifying. Dating alongside your ex while living in the same house could be paralyzing or could help reignite an old flame.” They continued, “The Big D has all of the elements of a great relationship series with a bit of a twist. I can’t wait to see what happens.”

Unfortunately, things have changed. It seems after teasing fans about this exciting new reality show, TBS has decided to pull the plug on the project. The news comes just weeks before the show was set to air.

The news came with words from executives shared by TVLine. A TBS spokesperson said, “We’re assessing our schedule to ensure we have the right content mix to support our network strategies.” They continued, “We are grateful to JoJo Fletcher, Jordan Rodgers, and the executive producers of Big D for their partnership through the process.”

What else is known about the now-canceled show?

It wouldn’t be reality television without a little drama. So, each week on The Big D a person would be eliminated if they were not relationship material.

It was also revealed there is a competitive side to the show as well.

Plus, it was teased that one never knows if their ex will defend them or use whatever they can to get them cut from the show.

It seemed to be an interesting and drama-filled new addition to the network. However, for now, nobody will ever know what went down in Season 1 of The Big D.

So far JoJo and Jordan have not commented on the cancellation.
