‘Unexpected’: Lilly Bennett Shows Off Dramatic Mature New Face
The Season 5 Unexpected tell-all may be over but that does not mean that the updates are not still coming. Lilly Bennett just shared her dramatic new makeover. She looks beautiful, as always but it is clear she is ready for the next chapter in her life.
Lilly’s Unexpected Growing Pains
When the new season began, Lilly had big news. She and Lawrence had been approved for their apartment. Therefore, she and her two kids would be leaving her mother’s home. This was particularly hard for her mama but it would be a big adjustment for Lilly. She was used to being taken care of and now she was the caretaker. Plus, the apartment was not super close so that was an additional strike. Once they moved in, the couple saw new sides of each other. Lawrence felt she was lazy and did not know how to tend to the home well enough. He would come home from working and the home would be a mess.
As for Lilly, she felt men did not understand what it was like to be a stay-home-mother. It was her belief that all men just went to work, clocked out, came home, and chilled. They could not possibly understand what SAHMs when through, always being on and responsible. It was questionable if they could even come together for a wedding. Yet, they ended up at a swanky golf course they did not think they could even afford. Fortunately, the price was right and they knew, with time, they could plan their dream wedding. Then it was time for the tell-all and everyone wanted to know where they stood.
Growing Up And Out
A bulk of the two-part Unexpected tell-all was the girls just trying to get Kylen to see she deserved better than Jason. It was a fail but “A” for effort. As for Lilly, she and Lawrence had some updates. They were not sleeping in the same bed as the kids and Lilly slept in one bed as he was in Aaliyah’s bed. Their intimate time was spent in the living room. Luckily for them, her parents have decided to rent in a 55+ community. Therefore, Lilly and Lawrence will be taking over her parent’s home. It makes perfect sense since their rent just increased and now they will all have more space. Yes, they will still pay rent but it is what they are currently paying and is closer to everyone.
To add to the big changes, Lilly revealed another milestone in her Instagram story. After two years, she is officially braces-free. The mother of two shared a very happy selfie where she is beaming. She was beautiful with her braces however, it works with the new mature Lilly vibe. It is really fun to see these girls on their journeys, some evolving more than others. Keep smiling brighter than a diamond. You deserve it.
