‘Sister Wives’ Fans Want to Know What Is Happening To Meri Brown?
Sister Wives fans feel Meri Brown has been disconnected from the family for a while. She is always off doing her own thing, having her own friends. Essentially, she says she will never leave the Browns but her behavior tells an independent story. Recently, she did something that has fans scratching their heads. What is actually going on with the original first wife?
The Sister Wives Go Their Own Ways
When the series began in 2010, the original three wives lived under one roof in Utah with their children and husband Kody. He had a nailed-down rotation schedule which seemed to work for everyone. If they needed more, they would just let him know and he appeared to make it happen. It became more of a challenge when Kody started courting Robyn as she lived at a distance. The disruption hurt the rotation so once they got engaged, she moved closer to the family. Try as he might, it was clear he favored his new fourth wife once they tied the knot. Sadly, even his kids noticed the shift. Once the Browns relocated to Las Vegas, each wife got their own home in a cul-de-sac so they finally experience this new autonomy.
Janelle continued to work, finding a path in real estate and eventually the wellness industry. Christine got involved in an MLM which was quite successful, a big shift from her homemaking days. As for Meri, she was also actively involved in an MLM. This allowed her to have the resources to open her passion project, Lizzie’s Heritage Inn, which has become extremely beloved. They all found these great paths and financial freedom so they had their own lives in Flagstaff. Living at a distance from one another was new since their land was a work in progress. Yet their businesses allowed them new and amazing opportunities, especially for Meri.
There’s Something About Meri
Meri has had the hardest time, as seen on Sister Wives. Kody rarely came to see her and she felt extremely isolated. Luckily, she has consistently stayed active with friends and business adventures. Recently, she took a photo outside of her bed and breakfast and posted it on Instagram, leaving fans confused. They immediately took to Reddit to figure out what was going on with her. While some were concerned, others praised the mother of one:
- “She’s feeling herself. Let her live.”
- “She’s having fun! I get that a lot of people don’t like meri but shes clearly joking and having a good time. I hope she posts more stuff like this showing that shes living a great life outside of the family and hopefully learns her true worth outside it.”
