Sister Wives star Meri Brown has had her fair share of challenges over the years. After the catfishing incident at the end of Season 9, things just seemed to snowball for the TLC star. She began to struggle with mental health issues and felt very disconnected from Kody Brown and the rest of the wives.

Meri Brown soaks up nature’s beauty at the Grand Canyon
As Meri Brown recently noted, she’s off on new adventures these days. At the end of the day, she just really doesn’t have time for the Sister Wives drama any longer.
Now, Meri is off to the great outdoors to clear her mind and work on herself.
Recently, she posted online about hiking with one of her best guy friends. The two enjoyed their time together and it seemed like a positive outing for the both of them. However, Kody was nowhere in sight. It doesn’t seem like he wants to spend with time anyone other than Robyn these days.
Meri doesn’t seem interested in divorcing Kody Brown, but she’s definitely not sitting around and waiting for him to notice her either.
“Sometimes life throws little curveballs,” the TLC personality posted on her Instagram page. “Sometimes those curveballs aren’t too shabby. Embrace the change. Embrace the adventure. This just makes me resolve to actually come spend a whole day out here taking in all the majesty.”
She added an absolutely stunning photo of the Grand Canyon, the location of her latest adventure.
“WOW! 😱❤️ such natural beauty is breathtaking! It’s on my bucket list to see Grand Canyon,” wrote one of Meri’s followers. Most of the other comments echoed similar sentiments. Meri’s photos really made them want to travel to the Grand Canyon and see the natural beauty in person.
The Sister Wives star reinvents herself after hardship
Meri Brown definitely has her critics, but most Sister Wives stars sympathize with her situation. She was raised to believe in plural marriage. According to her religious beliefs, she must stick it out as one of Kody Brown’s wives.
But that doesn’t mean she’s not working on herself in the meantime.
Meri loves sharing inspirational quotes and messages on her Instagram stories. Most recently, she said that she’s working harder than ever to be the best version of herself that she can possibly be.
Sister Wives fans hope that Meri will find herself again by the time Season 17 comes out.
