The Sister Wives stars all enjoyed fairly normal lives until they experienced reality TV fame. Janelle Brown was part of the mainstream LDS church but hadn’t even heard of polygamy until she was a little older. In the 1980s, she was just an average Mormon girl.
Janelle married Kody Brown in 1993 and went on to have six children and two grandchildren together. Although many Sister Wives suspected she would leave the family patriarch, she’s still sticking around. Next year, the couple will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary.
