Recently, Deanna has been using her platform to speak out against her nephew, Josh, and the rest of the family. Josh was arrested in the spring of 2021 for receiving and possessing child pornography. The Duggar aunt has shared her feelings openly online with fans. She asked for a heavy sentence for her nephew.
She’s been praying for the many victims, too. Most of her recent social media posts have been directed at Josh and Jim Bob. Her daughter, Amy, is also speaking out against the rest of the family.
However, along the way, as she’s kept her name in the headlines, fans have accused her of trying to get Jim Bob’s fame and fortune. Many think she just wants attention. Now, she’s saying that is not the case.

In a new Instagram post on Friday, June 10, Deanna Duggar writes, “I Am Not A Hypocrite for speaking the Truth!”
She then confirms that she’s not after fame or fortune, saying, “I don’t care about being famous or whatever people are saying about me!”
Finally, she mentions the late Mary Duggar, writing, “This is a very difficult thing to take a stand for what is right no matter what some others think! I know in my heart my Mom would have done the same thing!”
