Maks Chmerkovskiy Reflects On Tours, Hints At Something New?
Since Maks Chmerkovskiy returned from Ukraine, he hasn’t said much about plans to return to the ballroom. Right now, he’s laser-focused on helping Ukrainian people and relief efforts.
But in a new Instagram post, he reflected fondly on his time onstage with his brother Val. Some fans seemed to think he might be hinting at a new tour.

Fans think Maks Chmerkovskiy has something special up his sleeve
Val and Maks Chmerkovskiy have always enjoyed going on tour and connecting with fans through dance. But since the pandemic happened, they’ve really had to adjust their expectations. One year, the tour was canceled altogether. It did come back, but it was a very stripped-down version of what the brothers originally planned.
And it seems like Maks in particular really misses going on tour with his brother.
“Everybody should be dancing indeed,” the Ukrainian dancer wrote on Instagram. “Came across this snippet of an incredible moment in time. Made me reminisce and appreciate the journey I’ve been on all these years. Grateful for it all and all to come 🙏🏼 What do you think is next for me?”
Maks didn’t confirm any news about an upcoming tour, but it certainly seemed like he was hinting at something.
Maks, Val, and their wives Peta Murgatroyd and Jenna Johnson definitely put on a great show. So far, none of the DWTS pros know if they will be invited back to the show this fall. But if none of them come back, perhaps there will be room for a new tour in their schedules.
What is the dancer up to in the meantime?
Maks Chmerkovskiy probably will never return to Dancing With The Stars as a pro dancer. But he did really seem to enjoy judging the Ukrainian version of the show. While he’s been away from the ballroom, he’s been really busy with his nonprofit, Baranova 27.
And according to his wife Peta, the two are thinking about expanding their family. The pair were seen at Sharna Burgess’ baby shower and that probably only made their baby fever worse.
