Serena Pitt Shares Wedding Update With Fans
Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile are still one of Bachelor Nation’s fan-favorite couples to come from BIP. They got engaged last summer and fans can’t wait to see them get married. They recently moved into an apartment together in New York. But, have they started planning their wedding yet? Keep reading to find out more.
Serena Pitt gives wedding update
Heavy shared the update Serena Pitt had to give fans. The couple only recently moved in together. However, Serena admits she still travels back and forth from Toronto. She is from Toronto while Joe is from Chicago.
So, how is wedding planning coming along? Serena admits she hasn’t done much with planning just yet. However, she says they hope to get married sometime between next spring and next fall. She’s hoping for a 2023 wedding date.
No locations have been decided but Serena did say it will need to be a neutral east coast location since her family is in Toronto and Joe’s is in Chicago.
Plus, she already knows she wants a city wedding. Serena said she lives in a city so she knows she doesn’t want a farm-type wedding. Serena also said she doesn’t have a clue what style of wedding dress she wants.
She said, “I have no idea what style I’m gonna want.” She continued, “I didn’t even know what ring style I wanted when Joe was down on one knee. So, I think it’s going to be a surprise to everyone, including myself … but I’m excited for the wedding dress shopping and kind of seeing what I gravitate towards. too.”
Already talking kids?
Serena also dished on if she and Joe plan on having children. She said when they were getting to know each other on the beach that she told him if he didn’t want kids that would be a deal-breaker for her.
So, she said they both want kids and have decided on having two somewhere down the road.
Serena said, “We definitely want marriage. We want the house, kids. That’s all gonna come for us. We just jumped ahead to the engagement. We’re kinda reeling it back in a little bit. …He’s big on two [children], which I’m fine with. So we’re good!”
There appears to be a bright future for these two. Serena and Joe are happy and in love and enjoying their time together. It might not happen for a while still but fans can’t wait to see these two walk down the aisle.
Season 7 was a successful one for Bachelor in Paradise. The new season is revving up to start filming reportedly in the next few days.
