‘MAFS’ Amani Aliyya & Woody Randall Are Proud New Parents
MAFS couple Amani Aliyya and Woody Randall welcomed their first child into the world over the weekend. Fans believed the couple had their baby based on some Twitter and other social media posts. However, there was no confirmation until today. Keep reading to find out all about their new little miracle.
MAFS Amani and Woody have first child together
Fans were so excited when they learned that Amani and Woody from MAFS would be having their first child together. The Season 12 couple announced Amani Aliyya’s pregnancy earlier this year. They didn’t find out the gender of the baby until delivery.
US Weekly shared that Amani had their son on June 3. She opted for a home birth experience to welcome their little one. The couple named their son, Reign Randall. According to People he weighed 6 lbs., 8 oz. and measured 20.5 inches at birth.
Woody said, “We’re so excited. It’s all so surreal and still feels like a dream come true. He’s so precious.” Amani said, “We had an at home delivery, so it was nice to create that energy ourselves, surrounded with each other and the birthing team. It was special and very intimate.”
The gushing mother also said, “It’s still pretty early but we think he may look more like Woody, and he may have Woody’s eyes. I think he has my nose.”
Wood also went to Instagram to share the news with fans. He shared a precious photo and said, “Reign Randall has arrived 👶🏾My boy is here! #boydad💙#reignrandall #babyrandall.”
Finding out they were pregnant
Amani and Woody announced her pregnancy around their two-year anniversary. She said when she found out the exciting news she didn’t think she was pregnant. Amani thought she had food poisoning. She took a test and it was negative.
However, Woody encouraged her to take another. So, the Saturday morning she did and it was positive. She yelled for her Married at First Sight husband to come to the bathroom. He was smiling and asking her if she was pregnant.
She was still in disbelief so she took another test to confirm. It once again said positive. They found out about her being pregnant when she was about eight weeks along.
The photos they shared announcing a baby was on the way were stunning. The day before Reign was born, Amani shared a video featuring her bump.
The day she had their son, Woody had fans excited when he noted on social media that he was amazed by what a woman’s body can do. Fans have been anxiously awaiting the big announcement.
