WWE NXT 2.0 went In Your House with the biggest show since Stand and Deliver. In the main event, Bron Breakker takes on Joe Gacy. The Creed Brothers get a shot at the NXT Tag Team Titles with their inclusion in the Diomand Mine hanging above. Mandy Rose defends her Women’s Title against Wendy Coo. Legado del Fantasma joins the Don
All throughout the summer, Legado del Fantasma and the family of Tony D’Angelo have been at odds. Both sides have often tried to sit down and talk out their issues, however, the tension was too high. Santos Escobar, Cruz Del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde came to the ring with new gear to the road of the NXT Universe. The opening match kept everyone on their feet, however, it didn’t end the way LDF was hoping. D’Angelo used brass knuckles to knock out Wildes and get the win. With the loss, LDF will now have to take orders from D’Angelo and his family.
Bron Breakker closes the door
Ever since winning the NXT Title from Dolph Ziggler, Bron Breakker has had a target on his back. The first man to aim for that target was Joe Gacy, who has continued his journey to NXT In Your House. Gacy put up a tough battle with his masked disciples behind him but was unsuccessful. In the end, Breakker took out the hooded figures and got the win with a Gorilla Press Slam.
New Tag Champions
The Creed Brothers send a message
It’s safe to say that the Diamond Mine has been on rocky ground as of late. Roderick Strong has been leading the charge since Malcum Bivens was released from his WWE contract, much to the dismay of the Creed Brothers. The Creeds have struggled as of late, with Strong threatening to fire them if they didn’t win the NXT Tag Team Titles. After a match that included a Julius Creed hitting a Shooting Star Press, the Creeds defeated Pretty Deadly to become the new NXT Tag Team Champions at In Your House.
