Nigel Lythgoe created the show and this is the first year he won’t be involved. And that’s really heartbreaking. Many fans think it’s only fair that the show asks Nigel to fill in Matthew Morrison’s spot.

JoJo Siwa and tWitch are perfectly capable of carrying the show on their own, but the show definitely needs a third judge. And fans have spoken — they want Nigel to return.
