‘MAFS’ Lindsey Georgoulis Ditches Wedding Dress In Giveaway
MAFS bride Lindsey Georgoulis doesn’t want her gorgeous wedding gown to go to waste. As fans know by now things didn’t work out for the registered nurse and her Married at First Sight husband Mark Maher. Now that the show is officially done airing and social media accounts are back to public settings, Lindsey is sharing that she is ditching her wedding gown. However, she’s not just tossing it into a trash can. She is doing a giveaway so some lucky bride-to-be can possibly get her happily ever after.
MAFS bride Lindsey Georgoulis is ditching her wedding dress
Lindsey went to Instagram to share the news that she has decided to ditch her wedding gown in a giveaway. She shared two photos of the beautiful gown. One of the photos is a selfie in the gown and the other is a photo of it hanging up.
Lindsey started her caption saying, “GIVEAWAY! I want to pay it forward and give away my wedding dress to someone deserving. This dress is a size 10 unaltered Winnie Couture gown called the Dolce, and it’s valued at more than $7,000!”
Then, Lindsey went on to share the details of the giveaway and how to enter. The rules are very simple actually. She said, “Rules:
1: must follow @thenurselindsey 2: tag 2 friends in this post! 3:winner must reside in the US. I will Announce a Winner July 1st, @ 12 noon PST. #mafs #mafslifetime #nurselindsey @mafslifetime @mafsinsider @mafsfan”
Many fans speculated she was giving away her wedding ring. She noted it had stones missing and wasn’t worth anything.
Her marriage to Mark
Fans saw a lot happen between Lindsey and Mark during Season 14. They tried to make things work. She actually helped him through some really tough times including losing his beloved cat.
However, in the end, the two could not find common ground to make things work long term. In fact, it was revealed during the reunion shows that she and Mark’s separation got a bit nasty.
Mark accused her of being a threatening bully and many believed her to be a narcissist. It came out that he had actually asked her for a divorce just days after decision day.
Their split was so bad that they both agreed to just get out of each other’s lives completely and for good.
