Welcome to Plathville: Moriah Plath & Max Kallschmidt split up.
In Welcome to Plathville Season 4, fans have heard about Moriah’s split from Max. Most recently, she’s been talking about him cheating on her. Initially, Max claimed he kissed another woman, but it turned out to be much more than that.
In one episode, Moriah and Lydia sit down to chat about the breakup. Fans were shocked to witness Lydia’s response to Moriah’s breakup. Rather than consoling her heartbroken sister, Lydia seemed more concerned about her own friendship with Max. She asked if it would still be okay to invite Max to hang out with her friend group.
Fans were furious to see this kind of reaction from Lydia. In a confessional, Moriah admitted, “Lydia’s response was quite different than what I expected. I don’t know, I feel like, as a sister, I kinda wanted to feel more support in that area.”

A Welcome to Plathville fan reposted the video of Moriah and Lydia on TikTok and shared their thoughts on this sad situation.
And then Olivia Plath discovered the video and offered some additional information about Lydia and Max. Olivia wrote in a comment, “Haha he did hang out with Lydia and her friends for a few months. Pissed us off down here in Tampa.”
Olivia doesn’t elaborate any further in her comment. But it sounds like Lydia was interested in being friends with Max and even went so far as to hang out with him after he cheated on her sister, Moriah.

I think Lydia is the one who messed around with Max!! She runs around like she’s so innocent, but I don’t think she is at all! Maybe Mariah should forgive Max just to spite Lydia!
And Momma Kim is the most selfish woman I’ve seen in a long time!!!
I get being tired of putting yourself through hell raising kids and catering to a man. But the way she’s doing it is so hateful. I hope this turns out ok.
Lydia is cheating with Max. You could see it all over her face when they were sitting at the table having coffee. Lydia is so desperate for attention. I could see she had a thing for him when he took her to the store to pick out a little ring for Moriah back then. Deep down she’s happy they split up. She’s not the little saint everyone thinks she is. Make your decision Lydia!
