Fans Disgusted In Mama June’s Latest Bad Decision?
Mama June has not made the best choices in her life. However, it seemed as if she was finally making her kids a priority once again. Now it seems that is not the case and fans are disgusted.
Mama June Goes Off The Deep End
Seeing June Shannon in Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, she was always a tad offbeat and quirky. Yet the family dynamic became a guilty pleasure and one that fans could not look away from. She had four daughters and her partner, Sugar Bear. He was the father of her youngest daughter and the namesake of the show, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo.’ Though they were engaged, they never actually sealed the deal except for a commitment ceremony. The relationship officially ended when they headed to Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. There, June learned Sugar Bear had been unfaithful to her and there was truly no going back.
She underwent the most drastic of makeovers and ended up meeting Geno Doak. Sadly, the two went down a bad path filled with substance abuse and an arrest. Alana went to live with one of June’s daughters, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird while their mama went to rehab and got her life together. She entered rehab, got sober, and her life started to turn around, especially when she left Geno. It appeared she was ready to put her focus back on her girls but she had a secret.
Back On The Boys
Even though Mama June returned to Pumpkin’s full house, she was already searching for a new man. She had been seen on TikTok with different guys and it appeared she just could not be alone. This proved to be true when she married her boyfriend of less than a year, Justin Stroud in March. Though they knew each other for a year, they had only been dating for around five months when they made it official. The news broke at the end of May and the couple confirmed it via TikTok. Fans had a lot to say about June’s questionable decision in a Reddit thread:
- “guess we know what next season’s storyline is. i can’t pity june as she continues to make bad decisions, but i feel so bad for her kids.”
- “She’s a mess. I’m sorry. It just keeps going on and on.”
- “June, June … clearly inpatient rehab did nothing for her as far as making better choices and positive changes.”
- “Are you KIDDING???? So much for June not rushing into anything and not having any men in her life for a long time or whatever she said to Lauryn.”
