Derek Hough FINALLY Pops The Question To His Long-Time Girlfriend
After years of speculating that he might pop the question, fans were delighted to learn that Dancing With The Stars judge Derek Hough is engaged. He made the formal announcement on his social media channels that he finally proposed to his long-time girlfriend, Hayley Erbert.

Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert are now officially engaged to be married
Derek Hough has been a staple of the Dancing With The Stars world since practically the beginning. He started as a pro dancer in Season 5 and then left for a while before returning as a judge in Season 29.
He started dating Hayley Erbert back in 2015 and the couple has been madly in love ever since.
Many thought Derek would actually propose on DWTS back when they performed together during Season 29. But he quickly shot that theory down and said he was waiting for a more private moment instead.
And it seems like the right moment finally came along.
“It’s only the beginning…the beginning of forever 
” Derek posted, along with a very sweet photo of himself and Hayley. Right away, fans offered up their congratulations.
“Congratulations!!! It’s about time!! Much happiness to you both!!!” wrote one fan.
“Congratulations! About time you put a ring on her finger!” added another.
Overall, fans couldn’t be happier for the professional dancer and his new fiancee. This proposal was certainly a long time coming.
The power couple are a force on the dance floor too
There’s definitely a lot to love about Hayley Erbert, but Derek Hough has never shied away from making his feelings known. Whenever publications ask about their relationship, he’s always happy to gush about his partner.
“Haley’s taught me a lot about relaxing,” Derek said in a previous interview with Us Weekly. “About just sitting down and relaxing and enjoying the moment.”
He went on to say that they really balance each other out and that they’re really meant for one another.
And on top of that, they have amazing chemistry on the dance floor. Hardly anyone can forget their amazing Paso Doble routine for Season 29.
After watching this performance, it becomes immediately obvious why Derek Hough has the record for winning the most Mirrorball Trophies during his time as a pro.
Dancing With The Stars is moving to Disney+ this year. No one can say for sure if Derek Hough will be involved, but he praised the decision to switch platforms. He also said there would be changes coming this fall, which leads viewers to think he will be involved in some shape or form.
