Mama June’s Daughter Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird Gives Birth To Twins?
Mama June recently was seen missing the birth of her first grandson. When Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird went into labor with her second child, her mother was MIA. Then, she got pregnant again, this time with twins. Have they finally made their arrival?
Mama June Misses A Pivotal Moment
It has been a rough ride for June Shannon since she got involved with Geno Doak. It took her down a dark path which included drugs and possible jail time. She was also alienated from her daughters which meant her youngest, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ no longer lived with her. Alana went to live with June’s older daughter, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ but she was running out of space. She had her husband, Josh, young daughter, Ella and eventually, their other sister Jessica came to crash. Then, Pumpkin discovered she was expecting baby number two so it was truly about to be a full house.
Throughout all of these transitions, June got herself sober and tried to reconnect with her girls. They fully expected her to be there when baby number two arrived. After all, she was present for the gender reveal of the second baby, a boy. Unfortunately, they couldn’t locate her when Pumpkin went into labor but the show went on. Pumpkin noted that when Ella was born, June was so excited that she even got her vision fixed so she could fully see her new grandchild. It was heartbreaking to have her miss her grandson, Bentley’s birth, but Pumpkin was not done.
And Babies Make Six?
Last month, sources confirmed to TMZ that Pumpkin was pregnant with twins. The due date was said to be June 18th but according to The Sun, the babies may have arrived early. Per a source close to the family, the twins, a boy, and a girl arrived on May 19th via C-section. According to the source: “The girl weighed in at six pounds, one ounce and the boy totaled five pounds, four ounces.” The family has yet to officially confirm the news of the births. However, the source claims that everyone is doing fine and went home a few days after birth.
No word if Mama June was in attendance for the birth of her new grandchildren now that her life is in order. Furthermore, it is unclear if this was recorded for an upcoming episode of the show. It is just great to know that everyone is happy and most importantly, healthy. Congratulations to the expanding family. More news as it comes in.
