Rarely does the Hallmark Channel premiere a movie from their sister network, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. However, The Presence Of Love is going to be an exception.

Moreover, this could possibly be to remind the Television Academy of this special movie.

The Presence Of Love is one of their top three movies made, so far, in 2022. This is a romantic and beautiful movie that fans have been raving over. This is a movie that lacks the tropes and trappings that are often at the butt of all jokes about the network.

Instead, this is a beautifully told story, starring a stellar cast. That includes the enchanting Eloise Mumford (The Baker’s Son, One December Night), the charming Julian Morris (Pretty Little Liars, A Royal Queens Christmas), Samantha Bond (Downton Abbey, GoldenEye), and the adorable Amy Sharp in her first role.

What Is Hallmark’s The Presence of Love About?

A Romantic English Literature professor Joss (Mumford) is facing the stress of tenure, and is gifted a trip to Cornwall. There, she stays on the farm her mother grew up on and meets Daniel (Morris), a single dad whose outlook on life is always half-full.

Joss also befriends Tegan (Sharp), Daniel’s daughter, as well as his mercurial mother, Merryn (Bond). She soon finds that what she thought was making her feel secure did not make her happy. But, as she walks in the same natural setting that her mother once did, she soon discovers what does make her heart sing.

This movie was filmed on location in Cornwall.

When Can You Watch The Presence Of Love?

The Hallmark Channel premiere of The Presence Of Love is on Monday, May 30, at 6 p.m., Eastern. In addition, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is airing The Presence Of Love on Friday, June 17, at 9 p.m., Eastern.

Have your DVR ready. This is one of those movies you will watch again, and again, and….again.

Is Hallmark Reminding Television Academy Of Their Exceptional Movie?

If you have ever wondered why May always has some of the best television of the year, it is partially to do with the Television Academy. May 31 is the traditional deadline for the year.

For this year, any movie that is eligible for the 2022 awards must premiere by May 31, 2022.

Of course, The Presence of Love first premiered on Sunday, March 13, 2022, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. However, too often, HMM can be overlooked, and the network may have decided to premiere this beautiful movie again, before the deadline. This very move could give this exceptional movie the attention it deserves. Perhaps it will even get that prestigious nomination.

Anyone who has perused and even commented on the Hallmark Movies Reddit page knows that there is a lot of discussion about the Emmys. In addition, several posters who seem to be in the know claim that Hallmark wants to return to winning Emmys as they did in the past.

Hallmark’s Recent Leo Nominated Movies

Did you know that several Hallmark movies have recently been nominated for the Leo Award? These are the awards for the British Columbia film and television industry. Therefore, as Vancouver is nicknamed “Hollywood North,” this is a big deal.

According to B the Q, who went to Twitter to share the news, Hallmark’s A Dickens of A Holiday!, Playing Cupid, Right In Front Of Me, and The Christmas House 2: Deck Those Halls are all nominated.

As The Presence Of Love was filmed in Cornwall, it would not qualify for a Leo. However, there are plenty of other awards that this Hallmark movie could certainly win.

What Hallmark movie do you think is worthy of an award?
