Criminal Minds fans want to know if their favorite TV mystery is leaving Netflix. The series has been on the popular streaming platform since 2014. However, that will come to an end. All 12 seasons are currently streaming on Netflix for the time being.

So, you only have a month to binge-watch them. Netflix announced that the drama will be leaving the service on June 30, 2022. It was first added to the platform in 2014 and had regular annual season drops following the season finale on CBS. Now that CBS has its own streaming service, it will no longer be available to watch on Netflix.

Is Criminal Minds moving to Paramount+?

As fans know, CBS came out with its own streaming platform called Paramount+, which includes movies, television shows, sports, originals, and other exclusive content. It’s obvious that Criminal Minds could end up there.

The show originally aired on CBS. Netflix recently announced that Seasons 1 to 12 will be removed on June 30th. Criminal Minds is a police drama that follows a group of FBI profilers who explore the minds of psychopaths. The series ended in 2021 with its 15th season. There are 324 total episodes. The success of the show led to two spinoff series: Beyond Borders and Suspect Behavior.

Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t been the ideal place to stream Criminal Minds. It has failed to pick up the newer seasons. Fans were looking forward to watching Seasons 13 to 15, which never appeared on the platform. Those seasons are exclusively streaming at Paramount+ and it’s likely that the newer seasons will end up there as well.

The newer seasons of Criminal Minds are currently available on Hulu. But, it’s likely they won’t last there for long. Netflix is only streaming Seasons 1 to 12 of the series. All 12 of these seasons will leave by June 30th.

Since Criminal Minds has amassed a hardcore fanbase, it’s a huge loss for Netflix, which is already struggling. Subscribers are already leaving the service because of their strict rules in regard to sharing accounts. Meanwhile, their favorite shows keep getting canceled. With the latest Netflix hike, it’s getting harder for subscribers to stick around with so many options.

According to Nielsen data, Criminal Minds was Netflix’s third most-watched show in 2020. The series continued to dominate Nielsen’s Top 10 list every week into 2022.

Where can I watch Criminal Minds Seasons 1-12 in July?

Fans who need to catch up with Criminal Minds will have to watch it on Paramount+. The platform will have all 15 seasons this summer. The show is also said to get a reboot on the platform as well.

When it comes to international viewers, the show is distributed by Disney where it’s available on the Disney+ Star platform. Once Criminal Minds leaves Netflix, it won’t be coming back. If you want to make the switch from Netflix to Paramount+, plans start at $4.99 per month. You can also try it free for seven days.
