Is Kate Gosselin okay? The former TLC star used to thrive in the spotlight. But she’s been noticeably absent for quite some time now. Her youngest children, the sextuplets, just turned 18 years old and are about to leave the nest. And some of Kate’s fans think that she might not be handling that well.

Former reality TV star Kate Gosselin goes missing from Instagram
As The Sun notes, Kate Gosselin hasn’t shared any Instagram updates in about two years. The last time she shared an update, it was a photo of Aaden who got his braces off in 2020. Interestingly enough, Kate didn’t even make a post about the sextuplets’ birthday.
But even though the post went up so long ago, fans still comment on it from time to time. Many fans commented on the post to wish the sextuplets a happy birthday earlier this month. Several other fans ask Kate about her whereabouts and life updates.
“We would love to hear an update from you, Kate,” wrote one curious follower. “I know that you moved to North Carolina and are working as a nurse. Good for you! Even though you now have a career out of the public eye, you will always have fans. If you would prefer to stay completely out of the public eye, I respect that. I wish you and your kids all the best in this new chapter of your lives!š”
“Rip to Kateās Instagram,” another follower put it bluntly.
Did the reality TV mom try to keep her kids apart?
Up until the sextuplets turned 18, Jon Gosselin had primary custody of two of them: Collin and Hannah. And sources say that allegedly, Kate was furious when Hannah asked to live with her father.
āKate absolutely adored Hannah and wanted her to stay with her,ā the source toldĀ In Touch Weekly. āBut Hannah just felt that it was not the right atmosphere for her, even though she absolutely loves her brothers and sisters.ā
The source went on to say that Kate did everything in her power to keep the kids apart as a result.
āSheās definitely spent a lot of time making sure the kids donāt spend time together because sheās really upset Hannah chose to live with Jon,ā another insider toldĀ Us Weekly. ā[Hannah] doesnāt really speak to her mom much. ā¦ Sheās focused on high school and getting into college.ā
