Fans Say Josh Duggar’s Lawyers Should Be Ashamed Of Themselves
Former 19 Kids & Counting star Josh Duggar was sentenced to 151 months behind bars on child pornography charges. He will have to follow a set of conditions upon his release. Josh Duggar is not allowed to view adult videos upon his release.
As Josh was sentenced, Judge Brooks revealed that he would have to follow “special conditions” after being released from prison.
One of the conditions that Judge Brooks mentioned is that Josh will be unable to view adult pornography. Upon hearing this, Josh’s lawyers objected.
Josh’s lawyers also objected to regular polygraph tests.
However, Judge Brooks overruled both objections and the conditions still stand.
Fans call out his lawyers for arguing this condition.
After fans and critics learned of this special condition and Josh’s lawyers’ objection, they called out the defense team. They think it’s ridiculous that Josh’s legal team would try to object to such a thing, especially given the nature and severity of his crimes.
They also think it’s worth noting that they didn’t try to fight for his right to see his own children. Someone points out, “Note the lack of objection regarding contact with his children.”
On Reddit, Duggar fans and critics are talking about the objection to adult videos. They think it was rather bold and inappropriate for Josh Duggar’s legal team to make this objection.
One Duggar snarker says, “Imagine that? THIS is what they’re worried about. He hasn’t even been assigned to a prison yet and he’s already thinking about porn when he gets out. Not his kids, not his family, not where he will find gainful employment, nope he’s focused on….PORN.”
Someone else adds, “Probably know how he will not give that up because he’s legitimately addicted, so they know that increases his likelihood to violate his probation.”
Amid this objection, fans are also talking about Josh Duggar’s wife and how she is seemingly standing by her husband’s side through all of this. Critics are shocked to hear that she still won’t leave him.
