Kelley Flanagan Reveals REAL Reason She & Peter Weber Split
Kelley Flanagan and Peter Weber broke up quite some time ago. However, other than they weren’t compatible there weren’t many details about their split. With that said, their split got a little messy at times. Now, Kelley is opening up more about the REAL reasons she and Peter were destined to never work out. Keep reading to find out more.
Kelley Flanagan opens up about Peter Weber split
Kelley Flanagan and Peter Weber ended their relationship right at the end of 2020. The details were somewhat sketchy at the time and fans wondered what had gone wrong.
Now, Bachelor Nation is sharing what Kelley had to say about why she and Peter were never going to work out. Kelley revealed the new details while speaking with Mike Johnson and Bryan Abasolo on the Talking it out podcast.
Kelley said really there wasn’t one particular reason she and Peter broke up. However, one of the biggest issues they faced was her not looking up to him. Kelley said, “I don’t think there was one specific thing that led to the downfall for me and Peter. It was just a lot of little things. Peter and I had a lot of fun, but I don’t know if I looked up to him in the way that I wanted to look up to my spouse.”
She went on to explain, “I have this with my brothers and my dad, where if I’m in a moment where I need some sound advice and look for who to go to on important decisions, but with Peter, it was just fun and games. I could have fun with him, but I wanted more of a man that I look up to. I just didn’t look up to Peter in the way that I always hoped I would look up to my husband.”
What she’s looking for in a partner
While Peter wasn’t the one for Kelley, she isn’t giving up and she knows what she’s looking for. Kelley revealed that she’s not really particular when it comes to dating. She doesn’t consider things like height to be an issue. Kelley says she has dated all sorts of men.
She does want her future husband to be “super-intelligent” and be able to teach her new things every day.
While talking to the guys, Kelley was also asked about her relationship with Barbara Weber, Peter’s mom. She noted that Barb always loved her and they got along great. However, towards the end things became awkward.
Kelley said she hasn’t heard from Barb or Peter but wishes them well.
