Netflix’s ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’ – Canceled or Renewed For Season 2?

What is The Lincoln Lawyer about?
The Lincoln Lawyer is the latest Hollywood material to get a reboot. The book series from famed author Michael Connelly was also the source of the 2011 film starring Matthew McConaughey and Marisa Tomei.
The Netflix series stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo taking over as Mickey Haller for McConaughey and Neve Campbell as his ex-wife Maggie McPherson, a role previously played by Tomei.
Other cast includes Ugly Betty alums Becki Newton (ex-wife #2, Lorna,) and Christopher Gorham (Trevor, the defendant on The Lincoln Lawyer.) Jazz Raycole plays Izzy and Angus Sampson is Cisco.
The Lincoln Lawyer series is from the well-known television writer and creator David E. Kelley. Eagle-eyed viewers may recognize actress LisaGay Hamilton as a judge on the Netflix series. She previously appeared on ABC’s The Practice, which was also written and created by Kelley.
The title of the book and series comes from lawyer Haller’s preference to work out of his car, a Lincoln.
The first season kicks off with the shocking murder of a lawyer named Jerry. All of his cases are then assigned to Mickey Haller, who spent the last year battling drug addiction and is looking for a comeback.
One case includes the high-profile murder of a tech CEO’s wife and her lover. No spoilers, but both murders are solved during the 10-episode Netflix series. Will there be another season?
Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer – Canceled or Renewed For Season 2?
While the killers are revealed, there are several loose ends that could lead to a Season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer. And fans who have binged the series are begging the streamer to renew the series.

So, will there be another season?
At this point, Netflix has yet to cancel OR renew The Lincoln Lawyer. Granted, the series only just dropped on the streaming service on May 13.
There is plenty of time for Netflix to renew the series, even amid Variety‘s report that Neve Campbell is joining the competition. She will star in Peacock’s Twisted Metal adaptation of the popular Playstation video game.
However, the outlet notes Campbell’s role is only recurring. Therefore, she could theoretically return for Season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer.

Got hooked on this series immediately. Seems too many loose ends to have it end after only one season. Looking forward to a season two.
