Carlin Bates’ Husband Evan Gives Health Update, Admits He’s ‘Freaking Out’
Bringing Up Bates star Carlin Bates has been dealing with some health challenges for the past couple of weeks. Now, her husband, Evan Stewart, is back with an update. He admits that he’s “freaking out” about all of this. Keep reading to catch up on Carlin’s medical situation and see what’s going on now.
Through it all Evan has been standing by his wife’s side and seems to be pretty worried about her. She appreciates all of his love and support.
Carlin Bates has been in and out of the hospital.
For the past couple of weeks, Carlin has had a few health scares. She told fans that she was having “episodes” in which she would pass out. This was very scary, as she has two young kids, Layla, 2, and Zade, 2 months, to care for. This could potentially be very dangerous.

At first, it looked like it might have had to do with her hemoglobin levels. But now, that may not be the case.
Now, the family is still searching for answers after a series of tests. They have a couple of appointments lined up for this coming week. In the meantime, Evan Stewart is ready to share an update with fans.
Evan Stewart shares that he’s ‘freaking out’ as his wife continues passing out.
In a new YouTube video, which was posted on Saturday, May 21, Evan gives fans an update on Carlin Bates’ health. The video shows a couple more trips to the ER.
Because her hemoglobin levels have gone back up, it doesn’t seem to be anything anemia-related.
After the first hospital visit, she was given a heart monitor to see what happens with her heart when she has more episodes. She was encouraged to do normal activities to see how her body reacted.
Carlin Bates took it easy for a couple of days and didn’t have any episodes. However, she passed out again when she went out to Evan’s nephew’s ball game. An ambulance had to take Carlin to the ER, while Evan followed behind.
As he arrived at the ER, he said, “I’m just freaking out right now because we’ve done like every test we can.” He gets inside and talks to Carlin about her most recent episode as they wait to see what’s next.
The video ends with “to be continued.” So, there is likely another video to come.
Hopefully, Carlin Bates and Evan Stewart will have answers about her health soon. In the meantime, they appreciate all of the love and support they have gotten from fans.
